AfriDock Blocks
AfriDock, Docks, Jettys

Combining 4 blocks creates a very strong composition in the center of the assembly. Which allows the pin to go through and lock the blocks together. AfriDocks are very easy to assemble.  Put your dock together yourself or have it installed by one of our Agents.

V-Slide & V-Slide Roller Block

  • Dimensions ( H x L x W ) 205mm x 500mm x 500mm

  • Flotation Capacity : 50kg per Cube

  • 200 kg per m² weight

  • Weight approximately 6kg

Industrial: The V-slide Block serves as a support structure on water with a cradle effect for pipes with a diameter of up to 500 mm.

Leisure: The V-slide allows you to store your boat and jet ski out of the water. This allows your asset to remain free from aquatic debris and various organic growths. This eliminates the need to ‘antifoul’, which reduces your future costs and helps protect the environment. Like all our blocks, our drive on v-slides are very durable, but will sustain damage if approach at speed.  Being idle  before attempting to dock is recommended.

Each group of 4 blocks creates a very strong composition in the center of the assembly. This allows a pin to go through and lock the blocks in place. Made out of High Density Polyethylene, they are robust and secure. Using a ‘T’-bar tool, the pin is screwed in to the nut. Since the pin is fixed to each corner tab of each block, it tightly holds the structure together. When fixed in position the top surface of the pin becomes part of the dock and is textured with an Anti skid surface.

Connectors Nut and Bolt

  • Weight  0.200 kg

The “Connector” is used to join blocks together around the perimeter of the dock or inside the perimeter of your v-slide structure. As it is the external connector, it is more convenient to use a connector than the connecting pin that we use within the structure.  It is robust and requires a Hex tool to properly create a strong fix of the corner tabs of the dock. In some cases, spacers might be needed.

Bumper

  • Made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)

  • Weight  0.370 kg

Bumpers enable your boats and jetski’s to dock safely next to your Afridock structure.  Safeguarding your aquatic vehicles and Afridock blocks from turbulent water damage is done by allowing the bumpers to create enough space between the two.  Bumpers are fastened by using standard Afridock nuts, and can be re-positioned to accommodate your needs.

Cleats

Cleats

  • Made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)

  • Weight  0.370 kg

The Cleats allow you to tie down your boats and jetski’s.  They are fastened using standard afridock nuts, and can be re-positioned to accommodate your needs.

Spacers

  • Made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)

  • Weight  0.050 kg

Spacers

The block design has different corner tab levels, we use a spacer when the assembly contain less than four blocks. This compensates for the missing corner tabs. This will maintain your docks surface straightness, strength and performance.

Swivel Walkway

•Made from Stainless steel or Aluminium

•Width 960mm x Length 4000mm & 5000mm

•Weight  from 150 kg

Handrails

•Made from Stainless steel or Aluminium

•Length 2000mm

•Length 1500mm

Swivel Walkway

The walkway serves as both the boarding and anchoring point.  Being made from Stainless Steel or Aluminium makes it robust, rust and pressure resistant.  Variance in walkway lengths allow even a small dock to greatly extend its reach.  The end of the walkway is supported by a walkway support float which greatly improves stability.  The handrails can also be supplied separately to fit to the side of the dock for user safety.

Anchoring Pins

•Made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)

•Height (full height) 22cm

•Diameter 135mm (inner) 172mm (outer)

•Cavities 4: for better hold and better through flow

•Resistant to temperatures from -85°C to +90°C

•Weight  0.680 kg

Anchoring Pins

There are currently 2 variants. It contains a stainless steel rod with an eyebolt.  The eyebolt dimensions are either 10mm or 16mm.  The bolt is secured with a nut at the base of the pin.  These are generally used to anchor docked boats or jet ski’s, but can also be used to anchor the dock itself.

The second pin is used to anchor your dock, simply attach it to any installation of your choice to the anchoring pin that will be situated at the bottom of the dock after installation. Custom anchoring is available, please fill out the quote request for detailed anchoring solutions.  This would definitely keep your dock steady near the shore or in the middle of the lake. It is suggested to use a minimum of two anchoring pins per dock depending on it’s size. For a very large dock or with a more complex structure, it may require the use of a customised anchoring method.
